正规的网赌平台 provides various student employment opportunities for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students.

Please understand that employment on campus is not guaranteed, and we encourage those who are interested in working on campus to apply early!

找工作

第一次学生工作者

  1. 申请预授权.
  2. 在网上找工作 握手, 与其他学生建立联系, put your name on the availability list in the 学生就业 office. Once employment is offered, have your supervisor complete your approved authorization.
  3. Your supervisor will scan and send the completed authorization to the 学生就业 office.
  4. You will receive an invitation from 学生就业 to complete a Paycom profile.
  5. You must bring original identification (for a complete list of documents please visit the 学生就业 page on the myUB portal) to 学生就业 to complete your Paycom profile. Once the profile is 100% completed 学生就业 will email your supervisor that you are now able to start working.

返回的学生

  1. 申请预授权.
  2. If returning to a position your supervisor must complete the employer section of the pre-authorization. If you are seeking a new position please search on 握手 and apply per the instructions from the department’s posting.
  3. Your supervisor will scan and send the completed authorization to the 学生就业 office.
  4. You will receive an invitation from 学生就业 to complete a Paycom profile.
  5. You must bring original identification (for a complete list of documents please visit the 学生就业 page on the myUB portal) to 学生就业 to complete your Paycom profile. Once the profile is 100% completed 学生就业 will email your supervisor that you are now able to start working.

工作研究

工作研究 allows an undergraduate or graduate student to work on-campus and earn an hourly-based bi-weekly paycheck. At 正规的网赌平台 工作研究 can be termed either 联邦工作研究 or 非联邦工作学习.

非联邦工作学习 is a 正规的网赌平台 funded program that is not a grant or a loan. It does not need to be paid back, but it must be earned by working. Students who are not eligible for 联邦工作研究 will be classified as 非联邦工作学习. You must find a job on campus in order to be able to earn. If you are not able to find an on campus job, do not be discouraged. As jobs become available throughout the semester, they are posted on 握手.

联邦工作研究 is a federally funded program that is not a grant or a loan. It does not need to be paid back, but it must be earned by working. If you are eligible for 联邦工作研究, it will appear on your 金融援助 award letter. However, you must find a job on campus in order to be able to earn. If you are not able to find an on campus job do not be discouraged. As jobs become available throughout the semester, they are posted on 握手.

联邦工作研究 earnings may be used for whatever expenses you have. Your earnings will depend on how many hours you work. Typically, a student will work no more than 15 hours each week. 联邦工作研究 earnings are considered taxable income, but earnings will not be used to determine your financial need when filing the FAFSA. 联邦工作研究 is available only the fall and spring semesters.

资格

注册: Students must be registered in a degree seeking program

验证: Selected students must have the verification completed before applying for authorization to work on campus.

平均绩点: 本科 students must have a GPA of 2.00或更高. 研究生 students must have a GPA of 3.00或更高.

  3. Select “Work Authorization Application” in the “学生就业 Forms” section.
  4. 阅读需求. Fill in the appropriate information and submit.
  5. 在提交, you will receive an email to your UB email address indicating that you have submitted the application successfully.
  6. Provided you meet the necessary eligibility criteria, you will receive another email indicating that your application has been approved.
